What geographical regions in the UK do you cover?
In theory anywhere, but I have to be realistic. The Gale Foundation operates from home offices in Somerset and travel time is generally calculated into the costs. Preferred areas include the Midlands, Southern England and the West Country.

How much notice is required for booking?
Depending on availability a minimum of one month is normally needed.

How can my organisation book a training session?
By phone or email – see Contact. Your bookings are always discussed in advance so that you are able to maximise the full potential of the consultancy.

What training do you offer?
Essentially the focus is on three areas for consultancy. Please see the following menus:

How much do the training sessions cost?
Rates are very competitive. Please contact me for further details

What is the method of payment?
Once a booking is made a contract is sent to you agreeing the terms and conditions. Invoices are raised after training has been delivered and settlement is required within 28 days.

Are you VAT registered?
No - but this is subject to review.

Who benefits most?
Ultimately your school, college or business! Generally speaking the training sessions within education are aimed at those who have hands-on responsibility for the introduction, management and delivery of vocational courses. Typically the recipients are small teams in both education and business although it is possible to cater for larger audiences.

Do you offer on-line training or consultancy?
No – all services are delivered either at your place of work or another venue.

Can you provide tailor-made training to suit our individual requirements?
Yes – please see Other Services for further information.

Do we get certificates for attending training?
Not normally, because the consultancy being offered is tailored to your needs and therefore not within the National Qualifications Framework. A Statement of Attendance, however, outlining the themes covered can be issued upon request.

Are you linked with any other Organisation?
No. The Gale Foundation is entirely independent.

What is the trading status and who manages The Gale Foundation?
Sarah Upfield is the owner. The Gale Foundation operates on a Sole Trader basis. Other consultants who contribute to the training are independently employed. See About Me.
